Colin Godmans Farm, in East Sussex, is a beautiful spot on a high ridge overlooking the Weald and the Downs. The estate comprises 30 acres of woodland, three lakes landscaped over seven acres, 120 acres of pasture, an Elizabethan house and farm buildings, including an ancient Sussex barn.
What we do
The land is managed under the Countryside Steward Scheme. We use no artificial fertilisers or pesticides. The pasture is grazed by a small beef herd of Sussex cattle and a flock of Suffolk sheep. We sell boxes of our traditionally reared meat direct to the public. A fly-fishing syndicate, which has been fishing here for 30 years, has places available for new members. The outstanding beauty of the Colin Godmans also makes it an ideal site for any kind of special occasion. The ancient barn has been renovated and is now a perfect venue for weddings.
