Colin Godmans Farm, in East Sussex, is set in a timeless, breath-taking landscape. You cannot see a single other house from this high ridge overlooking the Weald and the Downs. The farm's bluebell woods in May invite spiritual ceremonies and nature camps. The banks of its lakes, at the foot of a natural amphitheatre, are an ideal gathering spot. And its ancient Sussex barn offers a perfect, rural setting for parties, weddings, workshops, seminars, etc. From the barn's south end, the land falls away, down to lakes, across the conifers of Sheffield Forest, and on down the valley, as far as the South Downs.
The main barn area is 13.3m x 5.4m. There is also a small lean-to facing south, 2.75m x 5.4m. The barn opens out on to a large concrete yard, which accommodates a marquee, and through to a flat field. An outbuilding next to the barn houses a kitchen and two toilets. We can recommend caterers, photographer and marquee hire.
The Venue is available for hire from mid May to mid September
